This vehicle was a low mileage car stored since 1989 and needed a full ground up restoration. The 1965 Olds Starfire convertibles had a low production of 2600 and only a few are still in existence today. The ‘65 Olds Starfire model is usually remembered by the exhaust outlets in the rear quarter panels. The 425ci engine had a horsepower rating of 375hp and came with the new “400” Hydramatic automatic transmission.

This vehicle was purchased in late 1997 to be restored as an original car as it came from the factory. These modifications include:

3. Cooling system. Cross flow aluminum radiator.
4. Drive train. GM 4L60E electronically controlled GM automatic transmission with overdrive and an Inland aluminum drive shaft. The rear axle is a GM 10 bolt posi-traction with 3.23 gears.
5. Chassis / Frame. Custom Engineering front frame clip, front suspension; 1987 GM A body.
6. Rear suspension. Repositioned spring perch, modified leaf spring kit, traction bars and anti-roll sysem.

1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible • Restoration

View Album

Another one-owner vehicle which the owner desired to do several modern upgrades.

First we installed a power disc brake system on the front to replace the drum brakes. The front A frames were also replaced with high performance tubular units. The sub-frame was powder coated as was the differential housing, rear suspension, under hood inner fenders, core support etc.

The vehicle was completely rewired from the underhood to the trunk. Special rally Firebird gauges were installed in the dash.

The engine was rebuilt and balanced. A Holley high performance carburetor sits upon a high performance intake manifold. Special Pontiac performance exhaust manifolds feed large dual exhaust.

The transmission was rebuilt and also the differential was upgraded with performance gears.

The body was repainted using the original factory color and the soft top was replaced also. The interior has had the seats recovered, door panels restored, a new dash pad and a new carpet. All colors are as close to the original as possible.

If you see this car on the street give him plenty of room.

1957 Ford Fairlane • Restoration

View Album

This all original Montana vehicle was brought to our attention by a Bellevue resident in the Spring of 2007. She wanted it to be restored to it’s former glory to drive again. The vehicle had been partially disassembled years before because of an engine failure but never repaired.

The car was towed to our shop for an evaluation. When we raised the car on a hoist we noticed about 300 pounds of caked Montana mud all over the chassis and body. We also found the vehicle was in need of a complete restoration.

After hours of scraping and steel brushing of the dried mud we finally got to the base metal. The chassis was almost rust free and the underbody was also the same. The engine and transmission were removed and sent to our rebuilders for overhaul. Now we could start on the restoration.

The frame and wheel openings were refinshed in rustproof paint. The brake system was completely replaced including shoes, drums, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, brake hardware, brake hoses and lines. Shocks and worn suspension parts were renewed. The carburetor was rebuilt and the fuel tank and all fuel lines renewed.

A custom electric hidden wiper system was installed. The factory AM radio was repaired and converted to AM/FM. The underhood and engine were detailed like it came from the factory.

The owner has put many trouble free-miles on the car now and only comes back to see us at times for minor adjustments.
